Accommodation privacy notice

Max Properties Growth (Pty) Ltd collects the details you provide to assess accommodation applications, contact you about offers, allocate rooms and manage accepted tenancies and verify registrations from existing residents. We send accommodation administration emails to your provided email address and notify authorised management staff about applications and relevant changes. An email delivery service processes the recipient address and message content for these notifications.

Information we use

Your name, contact details, room choice, gender for roommate allocation, funding, study or employment details and emergency contact details. Staff may record agreed rent, deposits, lease dates and private application notes, signed lease attachments, funding evidence uploaded by you or management, checks confirming NSFAS funding and accommodation portal registration, and lease / funding follow-ups. Attachments are stored privately and may be downloaded only by authorised management staff.

Who can access it

Only authorised management staff can view tenant and application records. Public property listings do not show applicants’ names or personal information. Your private reference and access code allow you to view and update your own application; keep them confidential.

Your choices

Existing residents can submit and update their own details through Existing tenants using a private reference and code. Management verifies their room and bed assignment; registration does not renew a lease. You can update your application information through My application and withdraw a pending application. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or ask about records that must be retained for an accepted tenancy. Records are used for accommodation administration, not published as part of our listings.
